Argentina
During my survey trip, I felt the Lord moving us towards establishing a ministry in the city of Corrientes. Currently there is no evangelical mission work that we know of being done in this area, and the opportunities for harvest are great. The socioeconomic standard of living is lower in this area than other parts of Argentina.
The city of Corrientes is the capital of the province of Corrientes. It is also 15 kilometers from sister city Resistencia. Both cities comprise a combined population of approximately 600K.

The culture of the Country as a whole
Through the years Argentina has been influenced by a large migration of other cultures specifically European. Argentines usually refer to their country as a "crisol de razas" ("crucible of races"), or melting pot. Surprisingly there is also a large Muslim population including the largest mosque in all of South America. There is also the third largest Jewish population behind Israel and New York City.
